About Us

Flicker Feather Press is owned by Bruce Morrow and Buffy Cribbs.

Bruce and Buffy established Flicker Feather Press after seeing a need in their community for a convenient, welcoming printing facility with small presses in a full-service, easy-to-use, and comfortable environment. They envisioned a bright, inviting, and cheery space, then brought their vision to life in a building on the lot adjoining their home!

With all the comforts of home and all the amenities of a professional printing studio, as well as a cozy detached studio apartment for lodging guests, Flicker Feather Press caters to discerning printmakers everywhere!

Flicker Feather Press offers personalized instruction, group classes, and artist-in-residency packages.

Bruce Morrow: "I tend to cross refer images from painting to print and back again because there's so much to explore when you get a good image, or idea. My work is very narrative anyhow; there's always the beginning of a story there. So each time I do an image, there's the possibility that the ending will change."

Buffy Cribbs: "I think if you look at my work you can see all of this there. In so much as one is the sum of one's experience, one's art is likely to be that also. I believe that good art resonates with some innate truth. This is a quality which is essential to meaningful art; the successful handing over of an idea from one being to the next. I feel at one with my Art, not so much because I can sell it as because it moves other people and it entertains and amuses me."
